    Verdict

ARYAL was sent off favourite over a longer trip at Lingfield on last month's debut and was beaten less than a length in third. Mark Johnston's colt can land this with normal progress and is taken to open his account at the main expense of Rouge Nuage. The latter showed a glimpse of promise when third on his introduction at Kempton but the remainder have some catching up to do to figure. Scarlette D'or makes her belated debut though she is related to a couple of winners on the all-weather and worth a second glance.
