Verdict

A disappointing turn out for the decent prize money on offer but it still features three last time out winners with Highland Games the choice ahead of Fantastic Love and Humid Climate. Sir Michael Stoute's charge is a well-bred type, being a half-brother to the 2,000 Guineas and King George hero Golan, and showed the benefit of his seasonal return when beating a useful yardstick over this trip at Yarmouth last time. Open to any amount of improvement, the son of Singspiel can take full advantage of the 5lb he receives from Fantastic Love. The latter wasn't hard pressed to land the odds at Hamilton last time but that was a weak affair while Humid Climate will appreciate the step up in trip after scoring over ten furlongs at Lingfield but has to improve to follow up on these terms.
