This looks a bit short for the veteran Magicalmysterytour but the soft ground will help and he can run into a place. Crouching Harry was beaten a long way when placed at Brighton last time as was stablemate King's Road, who was almost 20 lengths behind Salient. The latter couldn't follow up a few days later and has shot up the weights, though any further rain would greatly aid his cause. HAINES had shown virtually nothing until switching to the in-form Andrew Balding and attracting support at Lingfield last week. He couldn't quite manage to get there but that was his first start since June and this can prove within his capabilities.
