Verdict

The Clive Cox-trained Dansili Dancer has not progressed from his reappearance success on the Polytrack at Kempton in March in two starts back on turf, while Richard Hannon's Free Agent may be best watched on his first outing of the campaign having failed to win from five starts last term and racing on ground faster than ideal and a better bet looks to be THE FONZ. Sir Michael Stoute's gelding stepped up from his reappearance run at Doncaster in April when caught in the last strides by Deauville Flyer at York last month for which a 3lb rise looks perfectly fair and he can go one better today. Mick Channon's Managua disappointed at Hamilton last time and looks best watched after that run, while Mildoura has been running consistently well but probably needs some help from the handicapper. Mark Johnston's Record Breaker has shown little worthwhile form this term and it is hard to get away from The Fonz, who can gain a deserved success following his effort at York last time.
