Verdict

Honourable Knight bids for a hat-trick after winning over track and trip last time but only just beat the re-opposing Shot In The Dark and the latter has yet to win in 23 starts. Storm Rider went close at Newmarket last time but is unreliable and first-time blinkers are applied here. SCOPPIO DEL CARRO has been doing his best work at the finish when placed over 1m2f on his last couple of starts and a chance is taken on Andrew Balding's charge with this longer trip likely to suit. Rowlestone Lass may well be thereabouts once again but usually finds a way to get beat.
