Verdict

Stan Moore's Sheila's Star ran well when beaten just two lengths by Kalkan Bay at Beverley recently and can race off the same mark today so she has to be considered, while there are some interesting newcomers to a nursery that all have to be respected. David Lanigan's Menadati, Brian Meehan's Indigo Way and Hugh Morrison's Pisco Sour were all winners in maidens last time and now make their first outings in this grade so they are hard to weigh up. John Gosden's Liberty Cap has shown better form in his last two starts in nurseries and should be thereabouts again but a safer option looks to be TAKEAWAY, who can give Richard Hannon another winner. The selection only went down by a short-head in a better race than this at Newmarket last time and is only 1lb higher today so he should take all the beating.
