Most of these look pretty exposed. Classic Punch has tumbled down the weights this year but doesn't look the force of old and C&D winner Aldwick Bay has gone back up another 2lb for finishing second over a longer trip here a fortnight ago. Monte Cavallo went close in faster ground at Newbury back in August but Lieutenant Kojak is at his best with plenty of cut and makes more appeal. Snow Trooper had Main Line behind when runner-up over a mile here a fortnight ago but a punt is taken on LANCASTER GATE making a winning return to action as he has more scope for improvement.
