Verdict

Ex Oriente has claims on his best form of last season but has yet to race in soft ground. Aldwick Bay won this last year off a 10lb higher mark but arrives out of sorts while Lybica and Vital Evidence are others who may struggle in the prevailing ground. Unison, Presburg and Ace Of Valhalla all act on today's surface but it could pay to stick with BREAKING THE BANK. The latter landed a double over track and trip earlier in the year and won a claimer in good style at Salisbury last time.
