Verdict

STRATHNAVER looked something of an unlucky loser at Goodwood last time, and with Frankie Dettori being booked for the ride, the emphatic Lingfield winner should be capable of giving another good account. Burke's Rock has been a bridesmaid at both Haydock and Sandown, and the handicapper continues to push Jeremy Noseda's filly up the weights. Her latest punitive rise could well allow Tuscania to reverse the placings of their previous meeting. Silvas Romana has won twice this season with plenty of give underfoot. That said, she battled on stoically to prevail at Chepstow. The Giving Tree wilted badly at Newbury on a softer surface but Sylvester Kirk's filly could still be capable of further improvement.
