Verdict

Recent winner CADEAUX FAX is selected to win again at the main expense of Manere Bay and Secret Hero. The selection secured his second career win at Kempton earlier this month, fending off French Art for a comfortable victory. He is unexposed at this mile trip and his 4lb rise in the weights doesn't appear to be too prohibitive. Secret Hero flopped last time out at Newbury but he is better judged on his Lingfield win back in August. The trip with him is an unknown, as it is with recent recruit Mississippian. Miss Sophisticat is still a maiden as is the less exposed Jewelled, Pha Mai Blue is too hit-and-miss to put up with confidence, whilst Komreyev Star looks to have a very tough task from out of the weights. Flying Silks looks a better bet; Jeremy Gask's gelding is not yet fully exposed but he might need a strong tempo at this trip on this track to oblige. The consistent Manere Bay is another to consider in a tough race, however it is recent winner Cadeaux Fax who gets the tentative nomination.
