Verdict

Savant has a decent pedigree and will improve on his debut fourth at Sandown but we just prefer IGIDER, fourth at Newmarket before only going down by half-a-length in what looked a competitive maiden at Newbury. Jockey bookings would suggest that the four-year-old filly Bathrat Amal is the pick of the Godolphin pair and she can't be ignored on debut. Ascot fifth Cabin Fever is a likely improver and also worth a second look. She might have more scope than Kleo. Wakea is by Cape Cross and a half-brother to a 7f winner so a market check is advised.
