Verdict

BISHOP'S CASTLE is having his third run in 12 days and tackles heavy ground for the first time but Mark Johnston is clearly anxious to get a win out of the Darley-bred colt. If fully recovered from last week's length-second to A'Juba at Pontefract, he should take all the beating. Surreal has improved since joining Sir Michael Stoute and was third over C&D in August before finishing fifth on her Polytrack debut at Wolverhampton. She may do better in handicaps, however, while Waveguide failed to build on her third here in July in a Newcastle handicap next time. The others have plenty to find if they are to figure.
