    Verdict

PIVOTAL MOVEMENT clearly found 5f too sharp at Nottingham 12 days ago after making a promising debut over 7f at Newbury. He was still beaten less than three lengths by the winner, however, and the second has franked the form since. This trip on heavy ground will be much more to his liking and he's just preferred to Secondo, fourth in a better race at Newbury last month and sure to have learned from the experience. Blue Twister is speedily-bred and will have come on for his run at Salisbury. He has more scope than another of Pivotal's offspring, Iris Blue, and C&D third Overrider. Provencal may be best of the rest.
