Verdict

Easter Diva surprisingly drops in trip having obliged over 1m2f last month, and with that win obtained after an absence, there's every chance that she may be able to build upon it. ETHEL confirmed the promise of her debut at Kempton with a convincing victory at Doncaster and John Gosden's filly might have been let in lightly off mark of 76. Serenity Spa was hard pressed to get her head in front over course and distance, and a 4lb rise won't make life any easier. Zeyran isn't always the easiest of rides and the Yarmouth winner showed those tendencies again at Newmarket. Oratorio's Joy hasn't been seen too much since landing a maiden at Wolverhampton but there is plenty of room for encouragement as the well-held third in that contest has gone on to land a Lingfield handicap off a mark of 67 in the interim.
