Verdict

Anipa won a maiden at Wolverhampton last month and Lockedoutaheaven went close at the same track recently. Norse Star wasn't beaten far when third at Kempton on his comeback and Wylye scored at Newbury on her debut in October. Poker Gold won a maiden race over a mile on the Polytrack while Stoneham and Improvized are others with claims in a wide-open affair. But LOVE TANGLE opened his account at Nottingham in November and with this longer trip looking sure to suit, Brian Meehan's charge gets a tentative vote to come out best on his handicap debut.
