      Verdict

Some lightly raced and potentially well treated three-year-olds in opposition in a tricky event. They include John Gosden's Little Good Bay who has yet to race on turf but got off the mark on only his second start in a Lingfied maiden during the winter and is open to plenty of improvement. Just Fly won a minor event on the all-weather and was far from disgraced in better company next time so merits respect while Michael Bell has made a bright start to the campaign so last year's Haydock maiden winner Red Chief enters calculations with Kieren Fallon on board. Oeuf A La Niege made a pleasing introduction at Nottingham behind a subsequent winner and is one for the short list. Web Perceptions makes his handicap debut and looks sure to appreciate this trip after staying on strongly to land a Southwell maiden when last seen out in November. Meelup is still a maiden but was a thoroughly consistent sort last year and is at the right end of the handicap so should go well for his in-form yard.
