In depth

Verdict

This doesn't look the strongest of maidens and it can fall to Ruby Muja, with Dancing Rose and Agilette put forward as the main dangers. Richard Hannon's juveniles tend to improve on their debuts and this daughter of Mujahid is looks set to do just that. She wasn't given a hard time once her chance had gone in the Salisbury race won by Right Answer. We expect to see a different animal this evening. Agilete has improved with each outing and was just touched off by The Crooked Ring and Forzeen at Warwick last time, he looks set for at least a place again. The best of the newcomers may be Dancing Rose, Clive Cox's daughter of Danehill Dancer cost 32 thousand guineas as a yearling and is related to numerous winners including Oh So Rosie and Vienna's Boy. Keep an eye on the betting market just in case one of the other debutantes is heavily backed, but without that knowledge we will side with Ruby Muja.
