In depth

Verdict

Broadway Dancer probably needs to find more to score off this rating despite showing a good attitude at Hamilton and, in an open finale, we'll take a chance on BELLE ZORRO. Michael Bell's filly showed little in all-weather maidens as a juvenile but is expected to do better now tackling handicaps on turf, particularly off such a lowly rating. She's a half-sister to smart stayer Gee Dee Nen who improved plenty for cut in the ground and middle-distances so looks worth chancing, although it has to be said support would be encouraging. Spring Stock showed more last time and is another who needs a market check but best of the rest might be Sensationally, who looked ill at ease on the Epsom Downs and may do more returned to a slightly more conventional track. Dr Finley will go on the ground but hasn't shown enough over timber to merit serious consideration and at a price Thundering Home makes more appeal.
