In depth

Verdict

Belle Bayardo is the one to beat on the figures but preference is for AVONMORE STAR who was far from disgraced when beaten 3 lengths into fifth behind a stablemate in the Molecomb at Goodwood and can make the most of this drop in grade as he steps back up in trip. Drawing Board also drops in grade and reverts to this trip having failed to last home over seven furlongs at Ayr and he still holds an entry in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes. Fight The Chance is progressive and shouldn't be underestimated whilst Fifth Commandment has proved to be a tough and consistent performer and is by no means out of this in receipt of weight all round.
