Verdict

Gone With The Wind has his first start on Turf but is on a hat-trick after back-to-back victories on the Polytrack and won't be far away if taking to the surface. Star Code won on soft ground at Epsom last year while Montaigne proved a consistent sort in his first season, though showed his best form over 5f. Stomp may do better as a three-year-old but was an expensive failure at Kempton in November. KING OF MACEDON won first time out as a juvenile and showed decent form in two later starts. He has plenty of scope and is an interesting contender here. Desert Ace was highly tried last year but looks high enough in the weights.
