Verdict

A tight little handicap, though Unison has struggled this year and undoubtedly prefers a softer surface. Pathway To Honour races for the first time since February and has his first run on Turf but should handle the surface and is still improving. Divine Law has come on leaps and bounds since positive tactics were employed but his latest second over course and distance suggests the handicapper may have his measure now. Lady Marl beat Highland Duke by a head over track and trip three weeks ago but there is nothing between them on today's terms. PURPLE ROCK (NAP) could be the value if headgear has the desired effect. He's run well twice this season in better company over a mile and looks ready to strike.
