Verdict

It wasn't a surprise that BALLYALLIA MAN found the competition a little hot behind The Package in the Listed Badger Ales Trophy here last time but he rallied well in the closing stages and this is a lot less competitive. Tom George's charge remains unexposed over fences and can get off the mark for the season here though front-runner Monkerty Tunkerty should strip fitter for his comeback at Bangor and Ceepeegee is only 4lb higher than when successful over C&D in February. Global Power won at Fontwell in October but was well beaten at Newbury next time and is probably high enough in the weights.
