Verdict

JOKER CHOKER has shown gradual improvement in bumpers with his latest third in soft ground at Lingfield his best effort yet. He's sure to know his job on his hurdling debut and can make the most of the weight concession he gets from Arthurian Legend. The latter had an off day when sent off favourite at Exeter last time and is better judged on his earlier win at Chepstow. Nosecond Chance left his previous form behind when soring at Fakenham three weeks ago but it remains to be seen if he can repeat that form under a penalty, though better is expected from Ramses De Marcigny and E Street Boy.
