Verdict

The third race on the card is a very competitive handicap hurdle but hopefully SIR HARRY COOL can get his head in front from Minnie Hill and The Brimmer. Sir Harry Cools last run is best ignored as he slipped up badly at Fakenham. He is best judge on the run before that where he beat Henry Hook and Estates Recovery. The latter went on to make a mockery of a decent field at Exeter last Tuesday so the selections form is quite decent. Minnie Hill should also be in the shake up on the back of her last run. She was not far behind some smart sorts that day and the step up in trip will ideally suit. Her dam is a half sister to Ebony Jane who was an Irish National winner so the trip in not a concern. The Brimmer was quite impressive when winning at Exeter on Tuesday, making all for a decent success. He seemed to love the good ground and had some well handicapped rivals behind. He may not get his own way upfront today but the trip may bring out some further improvement. Michigan Assassin should be monitored in the betting with a good claimer on board.
