Verdict

VIEUX LION ROUGE can complete a quick double for the Pipe team in the second division of this novices' hurdle. The five-year-old hasn't raced since finishing in mid-division in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last March but had won his three previous starts and is sure to have been well schooled over timber. Revaader has already had 13 starts over hurdles but has been placed five times and could make the frame again. Larks Rising might improve on his hurdling debut at Taunton but Lemons Ground probably has more scope and shaped with promise when sixth at Plumpton.
