Verdict

Conditions will make this a real slog but Monkerty Tunkerty has the right credentials to cope having carried a similar weight into the frame in the Sussex National at Plumpton earlier this month. Heavy ground holds no fears for RED ROCCO, who was second off today's mark over further at Haydock on his reappearance and out of the handicap when pulled up in the Welsh National next time. He can get back on track by landing this ahead of Flying Award, another durable stayer who may have needed the run at Fontwell on his reappearance. Yellow Ball and Whispering Jack have a bit to prove at present while this may be too competitive for Musical Wedge and Samstown but Cnoc Seoda may have each-way claims.
