Verdict

NECK OR NOTHING is penalised for his win at Punchestown last year. Outclassed in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham on his first start for Philip Hobbs, he looks good enough to take care of today's rivals back at this level. The Cider Maker went close over track and trip last month and Thistlecrack ran well here on his debut at this time last year. Vinnie The Pooh has the more recent form with a fifth on the Turf at Kempton and Carole's Lord showed up in the early stages of his debut outing at Warwick last month.
