Grand March has run in better races than this and must give a good account with the Bailey horses in decent form and Ed Cookson taking a useful 5lb off the top weight's back. He would have been the choice but this is his first encounter with good ground and it's best to see how he. Dalrymple was in fine form in November and December but the handicapper has had his say and he may need to drop a few pounds now but Agapanthus, lightly-raced for the past two years, comes right into the picture if able to repeat his good second to Shadarpour at Plumpton in December. NOTHING IS FOREVER gets the nod, though, as he boasts a good record around here and still looks to be on a feasible mark.
