The front pair were well clear when LANDSCAPE beat Ifyouletmefinish in a driving finish to a conditionals' race at Taunton last week. With no penalty here and Harry Derham able to claim his full 5lb allowance, Paul Nicholls' improving five-year-old can follow up now he's proved he stays this longer trip. Gevrey Chambertin is heading in the right direction and has to be of interest on his handicap debut but neither Red Jade nor Until Winning could justify favouritism last time and are arguably taking on better horses here. Timesishard may have place claims again, however, and Danandy should strip fitter for his run at Ascot and American Life ploughed through the Lingfield mud to get off the mark three weeks ago, but will find this tougher.
