In depth

Verdict

Quite By Chance was second over 2m here two weeks ago and is improving. He represents a yard in cracking form and Mikey Legg should get a tune out of him. But CHAMPAGNE N CAVIAR's second at Fontwell will have taught him plenty and Harry Bannister can get him home in front this afternoon. Ray Diamond has a penalty for winning a four-runner race at Uttoxeter and there's a doubt about whether the blinkers will work a second time and Venetian Lad reserves his best for Fontwell. Shy John has won a hunter chase here and this is only his second start under Rules.
