Verdict

Jim Bolger has been bringing horses out quickly under a penalty all season and has had great success. GOLD FOCUS (NAP) battled on to catch Pennys Angel over 1m2f at Ballinrobe on Tuesday and, though penalised 5lb, the longer trip will suit and he can keep up the stable tradition. The Home Ruler has yet to get off the mark but is getting closer and has now dropped to such a lowly mark that he's likely to be winning soon. Annagh Haven is also a maiden and has had plenty of chances but Hallo Rosie and Uncharted Waters fought out a finish at Sligo earlier this month. The former has been well beaten since and the pair of them could struggle despite their lowly spots in the handicap. Waterloo Sunrise has some fair form but has just one victory in 33 starts to his credit and that was on Polytrack.
