In depth

Verdict

This looks a big ask for the mare Pollywollydoodle. She won at Tramore earlier this month but would have preferred a softer surface. Bonisland made a winning start over fences at Punchestown just over a year ago but hasn't raced since and has to give weight to a couple of useful sorts here in SEEFOOD and Thomond. The latter got off the mark over fences at the eighth time of asking at Listowel last month and that should have given his confidence a lift. But Dessie Hughes' charge has the better form and would have got closer to Burn And Turn at Limerick last time had he been a bit bolder at his fences.
