In depth

Verdict

Falcarragh had run two fine races over this trip at Downpatrick but couldn't get going over two miles at Cork last time. He should go well back over this distance but LA FEMME BLANCHE made such a good impression on her debut behind Ardboe Abbey at Roscommon that she's given the nod. Solidago looked only moderate when beaten by Our Joey at Perth and though Wrong Way Corrigan made a fair debut at Ballinrobe he ran poorly when tried over 2m4f at Roscommon. Fairy Catcher caught the eye on his Clonmel debut and his yard does well with similar types while Ashbury, a poor point-to-pointer, made a very encouraging start under Rules in a Clonmel bumper won by Gold Bullet and can only improve.
