In depth

Verdict

ALFA BEAT hasn't had too much experience but jumped like an old hand when gaining an easy first success over fences at Roscommon. A 7lbs rise doesn't look excessive and he can score again. Surenaga ran his best ever race over fences when just failing against Oola Lad at Clonmel though connections will be disappointed with a 5lbs rise. Amy's Song has been in great form and thoroughly deserved her victory over Fairwood Bob at Ballinrobe. She's another with a rise to contend with but that shouldn't prevent another big effort though she's held by Royal Blood on their run at Limerick in May and the latter was taking on better class at Punchestown last time.
