In depth

Verdict

Highly competitive with Lukey Luke likely to go off market leader as he goes in search of the hat-trick under Peter Buchanan. He has improved dramatically for the combination of good ground and a rise in trip but is also 16lb higher for recent successes. The Kayf Tara gelding remains an obvious contender but the Sue Smith novice, WHISKEY RIDGE, is one to take him on with at a price off an attractive mark. He's yet to get his head in front over fences after 10 starts but should give us a good run for our money off just 10-2 after a solid Market Rasen effort latest. Attycran is in good heart and should be competitive on the back of a good Sedgefield effort behind Riskier last time, whilst Foot The Bill is also respected after landing a Market Rasen handicap over further in comfortable fashion. Spot The Ball is one to check in the market on return from an absence, with Rudigreen another possible in a hot affair.
