PERTUIS has been running well at this track without quite being good enough. He drops down a grade after a decent sixth behind Zaplamation here last month and should make a bold bid. Circus Star looks capable of getting involved again upped a 4lb for a win at Hexham and Beaumont's Party should be thereabouts off his current mark. Both Blades Lad and King Zeal disappointed last time but are no forlorn hopes if back to their best and Dollar Bill is not out of this either having won off a higher mark last season.
