In depth

Verdict

Cabbyl Doo went up 8lb for scoring at Perth in May but it made no difference as he completed a double at Hexham the following month. He's been raised another 6lb and this looks tougher. Woody Waller is very versatile and has won five of his 15 races. He is one to note this season but could just need the run, a remark that also applies to the progressive Best Lover, who hasn't been out for a year. Bocciani had little chance at Cheltenham last time and has paid for his earlier victories but Prosecco reverts to his best trip after two runs over further and is just 5lb higher than when scoring easily at Ayr in February. SOPHONIE gets the nod as she won over fences as a four-year-old in France and, though showing only moderate form for Ferdy Murphy, ran well for a long way on her reappearance at Kelso and could prove to be on a very fair mark.
