KILCOMMON PRIDE has won twice in the past couple of months by a combined total of 70l but not surprisingly is 27lb higher than for the first of them. He needs a slog and providing he gets one can continue his progress. The veteran Latin Du Moulin generally doesn't strike form until early summer as he did with two victories here last May while stablemate Captain Nash, a winning point-to-pointer and hurdler in Ireland, is having his first start since scoring over timber at Limerick in 2009 and making his debut over regulation fences. Hopeful Star was a decent novice hurdler but hasn't shown much over fences and was beaten 20l into second at Taunton last time. La Pantera Rosa has been beaten too far on her last two starts to be considered but Pistol Basc loves the track and though beaten a long way on his return from a long break at Catterick last month is expected to do much better.
