Tooman Lane was conceding lumps of weight when going down narrowly to Strathaird at Catterick and his only success over fences came from a higher mark than this. Lindseyfield Lodge is on easily his lowest ever mark over fences on his 40th start and wears a visor for the first time but he's become very difficult to win with and Paddys Unyoke will be racing under Rules for the 21st time and has yet to get off the mark. SYCHO FRED had shown very little before gaining a shock victory over this trip at Sedgefield a month ago but has shown that was no fluke with two fine runs over further and can get back to winning ways. Mansonien L'As hasn't had as much experience as most of these and showed his first glimmer of promise at Sedgefield last time.
