Chalk It Down never looked back last year after winning a jumpers' bumper on the all-weather, scoring over hurdles at Bangor and Market Rasen. But he hasn't been seen since beaten off a lower mark at Newton Abbot in August and is best watched today. Trainer Warren Greatex also runs the four-year-old BLUE ATLANTIC, who ran very well behind Snake Eyes at Punchestown at the start of the month. He may just have needed that and looks a threat to all here. Unanimite, another four-year-old, has only managed one victory over timber but has been competing at a decent level and Avidity arrives on a hat-trick after scoring at Newcastle and Ayr, though has shot up the weights. Acertain Circus and Ruler Of All have each-way claims but Doyly Carte looks out of sorts and Cut The Corner needs more if he's to follow up his Warwick win.
