Verdict

WILDE PASTURES was having just his third start over fences when making all for a very impressive victory at Catterick and though this is tougher and he's 10lb higher he's progressing nicely and can go in again. Jack The Gent was caught in the dying strides by Memorabilia at Doncaster and today's shorter trip may help him prevail though he went up 5lb and that may be enough to prevent him going one better. Be Definite is very consistent but rarely wins so connections try him in blinkers for the first time and Noble Legend is undoubtedly better than he showed at Lingfield last time when beaten a long way at odds-on. Zazamix is on the same mark as when scoring at Catterick a year ago but arrives badly out of form.
