Mont Royale was a surprise winner on good going at Kelso in October and didn't reappear until last month at Doncaster where he found the ground too soft. He made a bright start for new connections in what looked a better race than this at Market Rasen last month and can start repaying some of the outlay. Special Wells is a half-brother to a winning bumper and is one to note along with Azure Glamour, another who is related to a bumper winner, while the market should give the best indication to the chances of the remainder.
