Verdict

Lean Burn bounced back to form from his lowest mark in four years to score at Doncaster and should get into the frame again despite a 6lb rise. Runner-up Baraboy is 2lb better off and was only headed close home so should also go well. Henry Oliver runs Powertakeoff under a penalty after his easy victory in a Fakenham seller on Friday and he'll love the testing conditions. This is tougher but it will be a surprise if he's not in the shake-up. SHAN VALLEY is given the nod as he won over 2m4f here a year ago from exactly the same mark and ran reasonably well in a slightly better event at Musselburgh last time. Tom Sang has started favourite on his last two runs though it's difficult to understand why as his overall form is very poor. But someone obviously has faith in him and he can't get much lower. Hi Dancer will be having his 99th career start and attempting his 16th victory but hasn't won since scoring here in 2012 from a 29lb higher mark.
