In depth

Verdict

Wolf Moon has ran a couple of shockers since winning at Catterick in February and Checkerboard has been beaten out of sight in two starts since scoring at Carlisle in 2009. MATMATA DE TENDRON has been holding his form better and followed a second at Sedgefield with victory at Hexham last month. He can go in again here off only a 4lb higher mark. Dawn Ride has claims if back to his best, but Western Gale and Raining Horse will need to step up on their recent form to get involved in this.
