Verdict

Consistency is a problem for a few of these so small stakes are advised, however NGONG HILLS was in the process of running a decent race last time when being brought down and can gain his revenge today; Mr Twins joins Ad Murum on the shortlist. Chris Grant's unexposed seven-year-old was well-supported last time at Kelso but was brought down four from home. Having been outpaced at halfway, he was rallying well so this course looks sure to suit his strengths and off this low mark of 85 he should feature. Galaxia is too hit and miss to recommend, whilst Lough Rynn is yet to win on the racecourse proper (point-to-point winner) and therefore is another one to take on. Mr Twins ran well last week behind Seek The Truth but he may not get the soft ground he needs, so a bigger danger could be Ad Murum who is not badly treated compared to his hurdles mark. Keltic Lord hasn't won since 2005 and so we will keep the faith with Ngong Hills.
