Verdict

Formerly seen on the French racing scene, Otto Quercus has shown glimpses of promise over timber and over fences. Any market support for him is worth noting but preference is for BALLYBRIGGAN. The gelding was disqualified after winning at Doncaster in March after heptaminol was found in the urine. This race looks the ideal opportunity to gain a fair win as he is comfortably the highest rated out of those with BHA ratings. There may be more to come from Global who was a creditable third in a first outing over timber, Morocchius makes a first start over jumps with Warrior One and Red Skipper potential dangers as they are still progressing.
