Verdict

BENEFIQUE carries a penalty for her win in a maiden hurdle at Tramore in April but ran well when second at Downpatrick in August and was taking on better opposition at Gowran last month. Daniel Fogarty's mare could easily be good enough for this. Bennys Well was just touched off in a Towcester bumper in May and could be interesting on his hurdles bow, while Chac Du Cadran has won a point-to-point and makes more appeal than the disappointing Pampelonne and Dar Es Salaam. Bunratty and Freckle Face have place claims on their best form, however, and Milano Supremo won over C&D in May though was well beaten in a handicap company at Southwell in July and hasn't been seen since.
