Verdict

Trail-blazer Laterly may be best caught fresh and Paul Bohan should get a good ride out of the seven-year-old. Royal Opera was a decent juvenile hurdler last season, winning at Market Rasen and Kelso, but he faces a stiff task under top weight while fellow four-year-old Sporting Boy has a penalty for last week's victory at Ludlow, though has now won three of his last four. Favours Brave stopped quickly at Market Rasen last time but Zaplamation was third over C&D last time and Golden Future doesn't look badly treated. The Tiddly Tadpole was a very good second at Aintree last Saturday but we might take a chance on the fitness of CAVITE ETA, who was progressing nicely in the spring and will enjoy the give in the ground.
