In depth

Verdict

King Jack gets the confident vote in this novices hurdle with Farmaland and Mister Nelson rating the main dangers. The selection has been in good form of late and was a fair fourth behind Jaunty Flight last time out, that form looks rock solid and despite top weight under conditions that suit she is hard to oppose. Farmaland rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Quartetto in her native Ireland, However she would be much better off with the selection if this were a handicap and is taken on with this in mind. Mister Nelson was a fair third in a bumper when last seen behind Red Poker and if fit after an 867 day break he would have definite place claims. La Pantera Rosa is game and consistent and is sure to run his race while Fine Parchment may be seen to better effect in handicaps and for the winner we return to King Jack who sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
