Verdict

Nothing rock solid but the fact that Richard Hughes sticks with PIECE OF MIND might be a clue. The step up two furlongs in trip should suit this filly who comes from a classy family who raced from six furlongs to a mile. She shaped with only the merest hint of promise at Sandown but one imagines she remains capable of better. Stablemate Aldwick Bay should relish the longer trip this afternoon, whilst Kingarrick's form looks rock solid and he rates a big danger. Royal Reverie has shaped with promise as well so along with Supermarine (tongue-tied for the first time) and potential improver Waterborne, he should help make this a competitive maiden.
